Bean Dip

Serve this black bean dip with chips or spread it on a tortilla with cheese for a quick snack.

1 can (15oz) black beans, drained but not rinsed
1/3 cup roughly chopped fresh cilantro
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp cumin or coriander
1 Tbsp lime juice
dash of red pepper flakes

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Add salt to taste. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Tips:

  • If you don’t like cilantro, omit it or use parsley instead
  • To make the dip extra yummy, grate cheese on top
